1997 โ 2000
- The early years of ArchEnemys were raw, intense, and completely unapologetic ๐ฅ. Our photos and videos were captured in some of the harshest environments imaginable, from blizzards and sub-zero temperatures โ๏ธ to scorching heat over 100ยฐF โ๏ธ, tropical storms, water shoots, and even dangerous quicksand pits ๐. No matter the conditions, filming never stopped. The goal was always to capture real, unfiltered momentsโฆ and thatโs exactly what we did ๐ฅ.
- At the time, storage limitations pushed us to heavily compress both photo and video files ๐พ, which often meant sacrificing quality. But what those early productions lacked in clarity, they more than made up for in authenticity and intensity ๐โจ.
2001 โ 2010
- During this era, a single operator handled both photo and video simultaneously ๐ฅ๐ธ. This kept the content raw and immersive, but it also introduced limitations in overall production quality. Much of this footage was recorded on MiniDV tapes, which were highly sensitive and prone to signal loss, corruption, and visual inconsistencies โ ๏ธ.
- As a result, quality could vary, but the tradeoff was real, uninterrupted content that stayed true to the ArchEnemys style ๐ค๐ฅ.
2011 โ 2020
- With advancements in technology, we transitioned to camcorders with built-in photo capture ๐ท. This allowed for a more streamlined workflow, with a single device handling both formats more efficiently. The result was a noticeable improvement in consistency, clarity, and overall visual quality โจ๐ .
2021 โ Now
- Today, ArchEnemys operates at its highest level of production ever ๐. Photo and video are now captured separately using dedicated, professional-grade equipment ๐ฅ๐ธ. This allows for maximum detail, sharpness, and full cinematic quality across every shoot ๐.
